MACA – Majalengka, March 5, 2025 – Majalengka Regent, H. Eman Suherman, has inaugurated 58 new school principals in Majalengka Regency. The inauguration ceremony was held at the Education Office Hall on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Attendees included Acting Head of BKPSDM, H. Gatot Sulaeman, Education Office Head, H. Umar Ma’aruf, Education Council, and PGRI Chairman.
According to the Decree of the Regent of Majalengka, the 58 inaugurated school principals consist of 2 kindergarten principals, 49 elementary school principals, and 7 junior high school principals. Regent Eman Suherman hopes that the new principals can immediately start their duties and improve the quality of education in their respective schools.
In his speech, Regent Eman Suherman emphasized the importance of the role of school principals in advancing schools and improving the quality of education. He also asked the new principals to map out improvements in education quality in their respective schools and manage their schools well.
Education Office Head, H. Umar Ma’aruf, added that the inauguration of new school principals was done to fill the vacancy of principals who have retired or resigned. He hopes that the new principals can help improve the quality of education in Majalengka Regency.
Furthermore, the Education Office Head emphasized the importance of implementing the 7 Habits of Indonesian Children program launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture. This program aims to shape the character of Indonesian children through daily habits, such as waking up early, praying, exercising, eating healthy food, being eager to learn, socializing, and sleeping early.
