In Road Improvement with the Joint Industrial Road Development Program (PJBI)
MAJALENGKA – Collaboration and synergy are very important, therefore the Majalengka Regency Government under the leadership of Regent H. Eman Suherman and Deputy Regent Dena Muhamad Ramdhan are committed to collaborating with all stakeholders. One of the innovations is the Joint Industrial Road Development Program (PJBI), a flagship program in the 100-day work of Majalengka Regent H. Eman Suherman and Deputy Regent Dena Muhamad Ramdhan.
The launch of PJBI was held in Lojikobong Village, Sumberjaya District, on Tuesday (18/03/2025). The Regent was accompanied by the Deputy Regent and company leaders to officially start the Joint Industrial Road Development along 2.8 kilometers. According to Majalengka Regent H. Eman Suherman, road infrastructure is very vital for transportation sustainability.
“The many complaints from the community regarding damaged roads make me and the Deputy Regent seek innovations so that repairs can be carried out quickly without relying solely on the Regional Budget (APBD). Therefore, the PJBI program becomes an innovation that we carry out,” said the Regent. Majalengka Regency, especially the northern region, is an industrial area, so the presence of many factories has a significant impact on increasing transportation traffic. With the existence of PJBI, the Regent is committed to improving infrastructure in the industrial area so that community mobility is smoother and economic activities develop.
In the initial stage, the PJBI project will focus on repairing the Bongas Wetan-Lojikobong road segment along 2.8 kilometers, starting from the Lojikobong-Cidenok village intersection to the Bongas Wetan village intersection with a CSR budget of Rp. 200 million. “The improvement in road quality is expected to facilitate community access and increase connectivity between villages around the industrial area,” said the Regent. The road repair project is a collaboration between the Majalengka Regency Government and four industrial companies, namely PT. Corinthians, PT. Galva, PT. Pelangi Elasindo Indonesia, and PT. Bintang Baru Sukses. (Cil)
