60-Year-Old Kuwu Kawunghilir, Hj. Yosa Novita Launches Rp 20 Million Interest

Free Loan Program for Kawunghilir Residents with Junior High School Children

MAJALENGKA – macakata.com – The Head of Kawunghilir Village, Cigasong District, Majalengka Regency, Hj. Yosa Novita, held various social activities, including providing assistance to orphans and organizing free circumcision and medical services for Kawunghilir residents.

This event, filled with charitable and sharing activities with the Kawunghilir community, has been ongoing for over five years. In 2025, on April 27th, Hj. Bunda Yosa celebrated her 60th birthday. Moreover, her love for the community led her to relaunch a program that has been running since she was inaugurated as Kuwu four years ago.

She provided an interest-free loan of Rp20 million for parents with children attending junior high school. “60 years old is no longer young. That’s why I want to continue sharing with the community. The Rp20 million loan program is for residents with children in junior high school,” she said during an interview on the sidelines of a free circumcision event at her house on Sunday, April 27, 2025.

Bunda Hj. Yosa Novita understands the challenges of having children in junior high school or high school. Although schooling is currently free, parents still need to buy new uniforms, shoes, and notebooks. “Therefore, this interest-free loan is expected to ease the burden on parents, especially housewives with school-age children,” she explained.

Bunda Hj. Yosa Novita has a special motto for sharing with the community, believing that “Allah’s mathematics” is more sophisticated than logical mathematics. “Given the abundance of sustenance by the Almighty, I am obliged to share. Insha Allah, sustenance will always be there and increase,” she said.

On her 60th birthday, Bunda Hj. Yosa received many congratulations and prayers. The Kawunghilir community, in particular, prayed for her good health and long life. To celebrate this milestone, a Wayang Golek performance was held, marking the fifth time this event has taken place.

“I’m happy with Sundanese culture and art, Wayang. Watching together while eating here with the Kawunghilir community is delightful,” concluded Bunda Yosa. (Acil)
